Title: Death Wants Me – First Contusion

Summary: One unexpected day, Inoo had a nightmare for the first time on his life. But the terrifying moment doesn’t end there as one by one, a JUMP member was used to get his life.
He woke up to the sound of a weeping woman and found himself in an unfamiliar grassy park covered with midnight’s mist. The wind blows around him making him shiver and hold on to his arms tight. He breathes out and saw how cold the air is and started walking towards the sound. He took his steps carefully, trying not to be noticed by that woman. He saw a dim light coming from behind an old tree and proceeded there.
“Ano... Daijobu?” he asked as he approaches the tree. The weeping stopped and the light went gone. He peeked behind the tree and sighed deeply after seeing nothing. He turned his heels to go back at the park but then he felt a cold hand holds on to his right foot. He froze and didn’t dared to see what it was, he closed his eyes “This is not real... This is not-“ he stopped when he felt another hand behind his neck.
“HE wants you...” a chilling voice of a woman whispered to his ear followed by a terrifying laugh of a witch then he was strangled, he tried to get away but his body can’t move. He struggled and is slowly losing his breathe when he suddenly heard a familiar sound. It was his phone ringing. He closed his eyes again and finally woke up. He sat up and felt his whole body sweating. He was breathing heavily too, he gazed at his phone on the side table and saw the caller. He sighed deeply, trying to get calm before answering the phone.
“Hello Takaki” he answered with a cracked voice.
“Why took you so long? I need a hand on my computer” the brunette said with an annoyed tone.
“What is it this time?” he asked lazily and fell back to his bed.
“So you don’t want to help? Fine. I’ll just call others-“ the older guy sulked like a kid and Kei can imagine him pouting.
“Baka. It’s not like that...” he bit his lip, not sure if he wanted to recall everything and tell the older.
“I’m listening” Yuya’s voice got serious, using his deep voice.
“I just had a dream...” he sighed, gazing at the ceiling.
“Oh, sorry. Don’t want to know about your wet dreams” Yuya scoffed at him
“It’s not just a dream, it was a nightmare, baka!” he was not able to hide his heavy feelings anymore and shouted.
“Fine. Fine.” Yuya brushed it off but realized what the younger said just now “What did you just say?!”
“Takaki, if you’re kind enough to me, please let me rest for now okay?” Kei sighed, he knew he shouldn’t tell anyone or he’ll be a laughing stock later. He was about to end the call when the older shouted “Wait!” “What?” he sighed again
“I can lend my ears...” Yuya said with his deep tone again. When he didn’t heard a respond from the younger, he added “Tell me what happened in your dream...”
Kei told him everything from the time his eyes opened and found himself at a grassy park in the middle of the night until he was strangled by a pair of cold hands. He stopped when he noticed the sound of the older guy’s heavy breathing.
“Yappari, I shouldn’t have told you” Kei rolled his eyes
“Who says I’m s-scared? I... I’m n-not s-scared!”
“Takaki, everyone knows you’re scared of ghosts”
“Uruse!”
“Well, thanks anyway. I felt like I had a breather, thanks for listening eventhough you’re such a scaredy cat”
“Am not!”
“So what is it about your computer?”
“Ah right. I was typing something but when my fingers slided on the touch panel, everything got deleted! How will I turn it back?”
“Just press Ctrl key then the Z character”
“Okay... Ctrl key... ah it’s here! And Z... Uwaah! Sugoi!!! Thanks, Inoo-kun!”
“Anytime, Takaki. Jaa, I need to get up now. Bye”
He sat up and stared at his feet, his mind kept thinking about the dream. It’s the first time in his 24 years of life that he had a dream that involves death. He got distracted when he heard his mother called him from downstairs “Kei! Your friends are here!”
He smiled and yelled back “I’ll be down in a moment”. He decided to forget about it because today, he and his university friends will be re-painting an old lighthouse by the sea. And thinking about it made him so excited. He went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and took a quick shower before going down to meet his friends.
“Hey!” he greeted, giving high-five to each other.
“We’re going Mrs. Inoo, have a nice day!” his Korean friend bid his mother goodbye.
“And please take this herbal tea” his Chinese friend said, giving two boxes of instant herbal tea packs.
“Why thank you. Take care you guys, okay?” she said, standing by the doorway making sure they brought all their packed bags.
“Yeah Mom, bye!” Kei said, he kissed his mother’s cheek and went off.
“Eh? We’re taking this van?” he asked as he saw the Starex parked in front of their gate.
“Yeah, so don’t need to bring your CRV!!!” his Korean friend answered, already sitting at the driver’s seat.
“Well, what the heck!” Kei brushed it off and sat beside his friend in front.
They arrived at the sea after two hours. The light house really looked old and needed to be re-painted.
“Ah, I’m kinda hungry guys. Let’s eat here first!” his Korean friend said and parked their car at the near convenience store. And after a few minutes, they are all sitting outside licking a popsicle.
“The sun is too high, it’s hooooot!” his other friend said
“Baka, ofcourse it is! It’s summer already!” his Chinese friend whack the other’s head who immediately whacked him back laughingly.
“Why don’t we play jankenpon to decide which part we’ll be cleaning? How’s that?” his Korean friend suggested making all of them agree at once “Alright!”
“Jaa... The one who wins first will clean the grounds” his other friend said and so they readied their hands to play.
“JANKENPON!”
Luckily, Kei won immediately “Uwaah! Kei-chan you’re lucky! I don’t want to climb up there!” his Chinese friend said who seems to be a scaredy cat.
“Hehe...” he just showed them a peace sign with a proud smile.
“Next winner will clean...”
And so the game continued until every one of them got their assigned places. They got in to their car and proceeded to the lighthouse. The sea is not crowded, in fact there are only 4 or 5 people that can be seen playing in the beach. They went to the small hut near the lighthouse and were greeted by an old man who gladly showed and instructed them. They started cleaning after all the precautions given to them. Kei grabbed the giant scissors for the tall grass surrounding the tower. He wore the gloves and started cutting down the green leaves. After an hour, the hot rays from the sun started to make him dizzy as he almost finished half of the perimeter of the lighthouse. He decided to take a nap and sat at the doorway. He’s sweating too much but someone caught his eyes. There by the shore, he saw Hikaru’s figure.
“Hikaru!” he called out but Hikaru kept walking towards the sea.
“Hey Hikaru!” he shouted again, he stood up. He’s getting worried ‘coz he knows Hikaru is not that a good swimmer. Heck, he even saved the younger when they were still Juniors when the latter almost drowned at the pool. When he saw Hikaru not stopping and walking towards the water, he ran off to him.
“Hikaru, what are you doing? Get back here!” he shouted, he made it to the shore and quickly swam towards his friend. He swims and swims but he didn’t saw him, he floated up and looked everywhere.
“Hikaru! Where are you?!” he called out but his legs were suddenly pulled by someone. He was pulled until his feet reaches the deepest ocean ground where light is frail. He looked from side to side, trying to find the one who pulled him down. Then a black figure with a face of blazing fire suddenly showed to him, making him gasp and loose his held breathe. He swims back to the surface but before he made it, a burning hand grabbed his wrist and pulled him down again. He’s losing his breath as he was being taking down to the deep. He reached out his other hand up and hoped someone will save him. Miraculously, a hand reached out to him and took him into the surface. He was coughing hard when he finally breathes the air.
“Inoo-kun? Are you trying to kill yourself?!” the man yelled at him after knowing it was him. It was Yuya who save him again and this time, Kei can’t contain himself but to let out his tears.
“What... are you crying?” the older asked but he shook his head, trying to deny it.
“No, I’m not. It’s just water got in to my eyes” he reasoned out. Wiping his eyes with the back of his hands but Yuya noticed the burned skin on his wrist.
“What’s this?” he asked but the latter ignored him and swam back to the shore. He followed the now fast walking Inoo Kei and grabbed his fore arm to see his wrist clearly.
“Who did this to you?”
“I don’t know...”
“Don’t be silent, tell me who did it”
“I’m not even sure if it’s someone...”
“What are you talking about?”
“You won’t believe me even if I told you” Kei said then turned his back and started walking away from him
“INOO KEI!!!” Yuya shouted angrily, making the pale boy stop his tracks but didn’t dared to look back at him.
“Just tell me what the hell happened back there!”
“It’s not a human!” Kei finally snapped back at him, his body started shaking when he remembered the burning face of the figure he saw on the deep sea.
“It’s not a human... who d-did t-this...” he shivered more as he said those words.
“What?”
“Yappari, you don’t believe me at all” he said then ran off and left him.
“Not a human? What’s going on with him?” Yuya tried to understand what the latter said to him but then he remembered what Kei told him that morning.
“Was it connected to his nightmare?” he asked himself. Eventhough he didn’t want to believe on those things, he’s starting to believe them now because of what’s happening to his friend.

A/N: Hey guys! I hope it didn’t scared you that much. Haha... But anyways, this is what I told you months ago (I think it was December?), the horror fanfic that was floating on my mind for awhile now. If I can remember, this idea was created when I had a bad dream where I was somewhat chased by death. I don’t know... I’m not really sure but it was thrilling! To tell you the truth, I don’t get scared that easily, heck I love horror/thriller movies! So your great comments and thoughts are appreciated. And I just started writing this last night so I hope I can finish this chaptered fanfic within the month and ofcourse, it will depend on your comments *winks at you*!!!

I was in a group where we're fighting against a powerful giant creature. We had a dragon fight with it with a sonic flare but the dragin was cut into half. Our only hope is a magic spell but the wizards are missing... And before it gets us, my phone alarmed!
