CHAPTER 3
“I can’t tell you yet ‘coz I’m still confuse” Hikaru answered.
“Oh really?” Yuya asked with a British accent.
“Other than Azumi?” Kota suddenly asked.
“No! You know I’m in love with her, it’s just I like this certain person.” Hikaru answered while blushing.
Kei overheard their conversation and felt nervous when she heard everything. She quickly left the classroom and went to her photoshoot in a hotel resort.
After the photoshoot, she saw Kota talking with the chief editor of Gloss Magazine.
Wait, he’s always here during my photoshoots. Is he a part-timer? No way! He’s rich and he doesn’t need a part time job at all.
“Dai-chan, why is Yabu Kota here?” she asked Daiki while walking towards her dressing room.
“Ah, he’s the one who sends you flowers, the ones with blue decorations”
“I love those flower arrangement especially if its blue!” she happily stated.
“He knows it’s your favorite color and he arranged it himself. He’s a master in flower arrangement”
“Did you told him that?”
“Um, yup?” Daiki hesitantly answered.
“Great and what’s next? My real identity?” she got mad at him a little.
“Ah, gomenne? He’s just too persistent and I know he’s different from the others. He really admires you and I think he loves you” Daiki stated.
“Ah, sou ka” she just nodded like it’s a normal thing to hear that a guy falls in love with her.
Daiki and Kei are sitting at the back of the car while riding home. She leaned on his shoulder and sighed.
“Doushita no? Is it hard to disguise?” Daiki asked while touching her hair softly.
“It was easy before but now that I found out there are persistent ones, I think it’s gonna be difficult now” she answered.
“Ne Dai-chan” she put her arms around him
“Hm?”
“You’re my bestfriend, right?” Daiki hesitated to say ‘yes’ because he has special feelings for her already. He wanted them to be lovers not bestfriends. In the end, he just nod a little.
“Thank you for always taking care of me. I don’t know what to do if you’re not beside me” she mumbled.
“Kei…”
No answer.
“I’m sorry if I hold special feelings for you”
Still no answer. He gulped.
“I… I love you as a lover…” he stared at her beautiful face but she’s already sleeping. He sighed.
“I wonder when will I confess to you directly?” he mumbled and caressed her face.
Kei is in the library at the far end table with lots of books. She fell asleep laying her head on the table while writing because of tiredness. Yuya was searching for a book but it was already taken from the shelf. The librarian told him that Inoo Kei borrowed it so he looked for her inside. He saw her at the far end and sat in front of her. He coughed purposely.
“Excuse me” he mumbled while tapping her softly.
“Inoo-kun?” Kei is still sleeping soundly. He sighed and waited for her to wake up. He just look for another book and returned. He started studying while still waiting for Kei to wake up.
“Onigiri…” Kei mumbled while still sleeping. Yuya smiled upon hearing her sleep talk. He palmed his face and stared at the person in front of him. He noticed the pink pouty lips and pale face of Inoo. He took of her glasses so that she can sleep comfortably and was even attracted to those perfect crescent closed eyes with beautiful eyelashes.
He resembles Azumi much… Masaka! Azumi can’t be a guy? Matte, is he really guy?
He gulped as he stared on her chest. When Kei moved a little, he can see inside her polo. He saw a white cloth .
He’s… he’s Azumi??
His phone rang and he immediately stood and left the library. He answered the phone sweating.
“Moshi moshi?”
“Yo!”
“Ah, Hikaru. Doushita no?”
“We’re at the usual café”
“Um! I’ll be there”
“Why is your voice shaking?”
“Nandemonai” he shook his head and wiped his sweat on his face with his handkerchief.
“Ja, we’ll wait for you then”
“Ja ne!”
Should I tell them? But I’m still not sure that he’s Azumi though. I’ll have to find out if he’s really a girl.
Meanwhile…
Daiki was looking for Kei in the library and he immediately saw her.
“Carbonara and parfait” he whispered to her ears while smiling.
“Itadakimasu!” Kei suddenly woke up and raised her right hand. Daiki chuckled silently.
“Oh Dai-chan, it’s you” Kei embarrassedly said.
“You’re glasses…” Daiki handed her glasses and she quickly put it on.
“You shouldn’t let your guard down”
“Ah, gomen. I fell asleep while studying”
“You must be tired of all your work, should I cancel some of it?”
“No, it’s fine. I need to work for myself, you know.”
“If that’s what you want. Let’s have dinner outside afterwards then, my treat” he smiled sweetly.
“Hm… I prefer you cook for me instead, onegai?” she used her cute pout.
“Alright, you know I can’t resist you”
“Wait, I need to return these first” she gathered the books but Daiki took it.
“I’ll help you carry them, besides, I’m your prince right?”
“Hai hai… Come on, so we can go to your apartment immediately” Kei pinched his nose that made him blush that instant.
