Summary: Daiki was living alone after his sister and his parents died in a car accident 2 years ago. Now, he studies hard for scholarship and work as a part-timer in an antique shop. It is where he found a very old scroll and read the chant-like writings of it. A very bright light appeared before him and he became unconscious. When he woke up, he saw a very beautiful person lying on the grassy land. Will he find love despite the difference of their world?
Like always, Daiki will wake up at 7am to prepare for school. It’s the usual day for a lonely boy who lost his family two years ago. He’s been living alone since then and supported his self in studying. After class, he would go straight to his part-time job in an antique shop. He’s the assistant of the owner and since many rich people are fond of antiques, his salary is as much as a full-time worker.
“Ah, Mogi-san. Konnichiwa!” Daiki greeted the owner.
“Ah, Arioka-kun. I’ll leave everything to you now, my back hurts so I’ll just be at my house. Call me if you need my help” the old man remarked and left. Daiki wore his apron uniform and noticed the newly arrived antiques near the counter. When he lifted the box, a scroll fell and he came back to pick it after storing the box in the storage room.
“Woah, this is really an old one… better place it on the shelf” he placed it at the shelf on the storage room.
His work ends at 10pm so he’s preparing to go home but he noticed a light coming from the storage room.
“A-re? I thought I turned off the light?” he opened the door and found the scroll shedding different colors of light.
“What the?” he tried to touched the scroll. When he holds the scroll, the color became blue permanently and the scroll floats in the air. Daiki being scared, stumbled in the floor as eyes still on the scroll. The scroll opened itself and he can see old Japanese characters written on it. He stood up and grabbed the scroll.
“The Stupendous Blue Marigold of the gods” he unconsciously read the unknown characters written on the scroll.
“Chotto matte, how am I able to understand this?” he asked himself but suddenly, a bright light spread throughout the storage room and he became unconscious.
When he woke up, he can see stars in the sky then he get up and tried to remember what happened. He saw a human figure lying on the grassy land so he immediately stood and approached the person.
“Sumimasen, ano… Daijobu?” he tried to wake the person but he saw a wound.
“You’re injured, ahm… what should I do?” Daiki starts to panic but he felt a hand holding his.
“Onegai, get me away from here... he’s coming, he’ll kill me. Onegaishimasu… “ the person pleaded and lost consciousness after.
“A human? Why is a human here?” a frightful creature with three horns is walking towards them and Daiki feel that they need to escape from him.
“Wha… What are you?” he stumbled.
“Hahahaha!!! I’ll just eat you after I killed the both of you!” the creature said.
“No… No!!!” Daiki shouted while closing his eyes and held the injured person.
When he opened his eyes, he was back in the storage room with the mysterious person. He decided to take the person home, he placed the person on his bed carefully and took a towel and a medium warm bowl of water. He gulped before untying the yukata’s ribbon of the wounded person. He thought the person is a lady because he noticed the beautiful face and long curly hair of the latter. He was blushing too hard when he undress the upper body but was surprised to realize that the person was a male. He started to clean the blood surrounding the wound. The guy woke up and smiled at him, he blushed more.
“Thank you for saving me” the guy said while touching his face.
“Your wound…”
“Because I’m in the human world, the wound is gone” Daiki looked and the wound really disappeared. His eyes widened into amazement.
“How did that happen and who are you?”
“I’m the Blue Marigold of the gods, I’m a celestial being. You saved from the hands of the Baphomet and brought me here”
“But how? I mean, I don’t have such power or something” Daiki shook his head
“Iya, you have a very pure heart that makes you who you are” the guy put his hand on Daiki’s heart.
“I’m Daiki Arioka” he smiled at the guy and removed some hair strands covering the latter’s eyes. He noticed that with the moon’s light, the eyes of the guy became ocean blue. His heart skip beat.
“Will you stay with me forever?” Daiki held both hands of the guy and put it over his heart.
“I would love to” the guy sweetly smiled at him and kissed him.
“Arigatou, Kei” Daiki mumbled after the kiss
“Kei?”
“Um! That will be your name from now on” Daiki happily announced and Kei hugged him lovingly.
