Characters: Inoo, Takaki, Yabu, Daiki and Hikaru
Summary: I don’t want to! Just read it so you can understand why!
Tears unconsciously dropped from his eyes, he closed the magazine and stood. He wiped his cheek and silently walked towards the door. The other BEST members just got in from their magazine interview laughing about Hikaru’s joke, and since Inoo was the earliest, he was interviewed first and was left alone on their dressing room.
“A-re? Inoo-chan you’re going home already?” Daiki asked as he noticed the bag hanging on his bestfriend’s shoulder.
“It’s still early, let’s go for a BEST party!” Hikaru suggested as he took the older’s bag.
“Hikaru’s right, let’s have a drink. Besides, we’ve been busy with all our schedule” Yabu added, showing his no-eye smile.
“Sou! Sou! Sou!” Daiki pounced on Inoo as he grabs his arm.
Inoo looked at Takaki’s direction which is blocked by Hikaru. Takaki stayed silent and started playing with his smart phone. He bit his lower lip.
Please… say something!
Having his hopes go down further, he forced a smile as he took his bag back from HIkaru.
“Sorry guys. I’ve got plans for today with my uni friends, maybe next time around. Jaa ne!” he announced and proceeded to the door without waiting for their whines.
“What’s with him? He was all noisy awhile ago…” Daiki scratched the back of his head
“Hm… maybe he found a girl he likes and secretly visits her on her part-time job or something…” Hikaru concluded
“Hikaru, you’re reading too much romance novels!” Yabu playfully smacked his head
“Or maybe something made him like that. Look, it’s our magazine” Takaki showed the magazine that he saw at the table beside the couch
“Aha! Let’s look for clues here! Maybe we could help Inoo-chan then!” Daiki quickly grabbed the magazine from the brunette and started scanning the pages.
“Mou~ there’s nothing unusual here though…” Daiki pouted, he’s really worried Inoo’s action awhile ago.
“Let’s just let him be, maybe he’ll tell us tomorrow when he’s fine” Hikaru patted Daiki’s head
“Maa! So, karaoke guys?” Yabu invited but got no response at all. Hikaru and Daiki kept on thinking about Inoo.
“I’ll come!” Takaki agreed so the two of them left but instead they went for a drink.
They took a private room in a bar, meaning Yabu is going to say something important to him Takaki thought. A waiter arrived shortly with a premium bottle of brandy and left after. Yabu poured the younger’s glass first before pouring his. Then he gesture him to drink with him. Takaki smiled before having his first shot.
“Ah! That was great!” Yabu exclaimed as he tasted the bitter-sweet taste of the brandy. He noticed that Takaki is somewhat thinking deeply as he stared at his own glass, playing with it a little.
“You alright, Yuya?” the older asked as he pour another glass to both of them.
“Eh? Ah, gomen…” Takaki looked towards the window after giving out a smile.
“You know, I really don’t get why Inoo-chan is being a tsundere when he’s with you” Yabu suddenly asked making the other looked towards him immediately with a questioned/annoyed look.
“HUH? What do you mean?” Takaki arched a brow with that.
“You know, he’s all so jumpy and cheerful when talking to us but when it comes to you… I don’t know… he was like always teasing you until you get annoyed” Yabu explained as he examined Takaki’s expression.
“Isn’t that normal?” the younger sat back and returned his gaze towards the view outside the window.
“I noticed that you have a good mood when you start your conversation but as Inoo-chan talks you become grumpy all of a sudden” Yabu added toasting his glass over the younger’s before taking a sip.
“I am?” Takaki asked as he looked down his feet
“Well, maybe it’s just that you still have to hang out more even privately. Hora! You almost did it eventhough Dai-chan was there in your private time. I suggest you two go out alone sometimes” the lanky boy suggested as he stood and stretched his body facing the window.
“But we did, once before Valentine’s I think” Takaki answered pouring his third glass.
“Ah sou ka! You got his number too right? You got it from our chatgroup and uploaded your photo with him” Yabu’s eyes gleamed as he remembered the moment he saw the two guys’ photo together on his phone. He immediately sent the other JUMP members a message to check out their chatroom to see it.
“I just thought that after 7 years as JUMP, I still haven’t got his contact info so I took the initiative” he casually answered after gulping all the way his third glass of brandy.
“Maa! Just asked him out again some time. You don’t know, you’ll discover a side of him that has never been known by anyone” Yabu winked at him playfully then gazed back towards the view outside.
“What do you mean?”
“Well, I discovered something about him after 13 years of knowing each other without him realizing it” Takaki can imagine Yabu’s disappearing eyes as he knows the older is smiling at the moon outside.
“And what’s that?” he asked as he stood and walked to Yabu’s side.
“HI~MI~TSU!” Yabu playfully put his index finger on his own lips, grinning widely.
“Whatever” Takaki sighed as he’s too tired to think about it.
They got home after 2 more hours of talking about anything. Takaki plopped down onto his bed tiredly. He took his phone from his pocket and saw one of the unopened message.
From: Inoo-kun
You should have stopped me also from leaving back then! Oh, yeah I forgot. You don’t want me to come, right? -_-
Say, will you call me upon reading this? >_<

Takaki chuckled upon reading it, he then pressed the call button. It took 6 rings before it was answered.
“Moshi mosh~” Inoo answered groggily as if he woke up from his deep sleep
“Hey” the brunette spoke, not sure what to say.
“Takagi?!” Inoo shouted from the other line making the older put his phone away from his ear.
“Why are you so surprised?” Takaki chuckled
“Well, what is it then?” the random guy asked, back with his cold tone
“You mailed me to call you upon reading your message and now you’re asking me?” he asked with an unbelievable expression on his face
“I… I did?” the younger asked shyly, almost a whisper though. He just knew then that the Meiji guy is not lying. It was very obvious with his tone. He knows that Inoo never acts guilty when he’s with him but this time, he can imagine the younger’s troubled nervous face.
“Yabu-kun was right. I know a hidden part of you already” Takaki giggled upon realizing that Inoo wrote the message unconsciously on his depressed mode and sent it without realizing what he did.
“Eh? What? What?” Inoo asked nervously
“Jaa, oyasumi… Kei…” Takaki decided to end the call after saying the younger’s given name. He felt his face heated as he stared at his phone. He opened his gallery and looked for their photo together taken at the sea. He smiled as he remembers the memory of their first private time together. He didn’t bother to change his clothes and comfortably fell into a deep sleep holding his phone with a smile on his lips.
Meanwhile, Inoo was left frozen on his bed. He can’t believe Takaki had just called his precious name. Slowly, his beautiful smile crept on his face. He hugged his pillow and gently lied on his bed again. His smile didn’t leave until he drifted to his dreamland again.

Takaki remembered the tracks of tears that were left on a certain page on the magazine, his 10,000 Words Interview specifically. He saw it and knowing that Inoo was the only one there at the dressing room before them, he was certain that there’s something about the interview that made the younger acted like that. He took his own copy from his bag and turned the page in to that part. He read it carefully and finished it. He realized that Inoo is the only one he didn’t mention as a JUMP member. Surely, he was included as the BEST members who cheered him up but it’s still different when you mention something about each JUMP members.
He felt guilty, but he shook his head to convince himself that it was not it. But the more he reads it again, the more he realized that if a reader who didn’t knew Hey!Say!JUMP would read it, they will think that JUMP has only 8 members which made his heart clenched at that thought. Surely, he didn’t want to lose another member. Ryutaro’s suspension already made them feel weak inside. It made him scared upon thinking if ever Inoo Kei, the first University graduate, the architect, the random guy, his J.J. Express leader, his co-BEST member, the keyboardist of the band, the one who didn’t call him fat, the one who helped him with his laptop, the one who told him about his trip in Europe when he asked casually making Hikaru, Daiki and Yabu jealous because they didn’t even know about it, will ever be removed from Hey! Say! JUMP…
He smiled upon thinking about the things that made Inoo become the third eldest member of JUMP.

He then turned his phone off and decided to leave things as it is. He didn’t fulfill the younger’s request and buries his face on his pillow. It took him an hour before the power of the alcohol puts him to sleep.
A/N: Hi dear readers! I’m back with this, sorry if it’s angsty but I just needed to write this after reading Takaki’s 10,000 Words interview translation. It really made me so depressed that while writing this, I almost cried a few times (especially on the last sad part). Anyways, because of this, my passion for writing Takaki X Inoo fanfics gone down to the point of not caring if I leave my chaptered fanfics undone. I know that you might think I’m over-reacting about this matter but as you all might know, I’m a TakaNoo shipper since these two are my top 2 (Inoo is the 1st while Yuya WAS the 2nd). So now, my top 2 will be Daiki, since InooDai is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, back to the point. Actually, I also need your advices or thoughts about it so please, feel free to COMMENT HERE!!! Date: 2014-03-26 12:14 pm (UTC)i thought i was the only one who noticed that Inoo was the only member left unmentioned in the Myojo 10k words interview. :( and to think i ship TakaNoo!! :'(
i have to say though that everything about the interview was a look back at what happened during Yuya's Gokusen stint and bit after that and obviously, he and Inoo did not have much interaction back then as Inoo was too busy with school and work. so most probably it was lack of opportunity to be able to interact with one another that's why. and as we all know, they've just recently gotten each other's mail so they're obviously much more chummy now. :)
anyway, i still ship them. they have this certain chemistry and i think they'd work well together given half a chance. so yes, TakaNoo for the win!! lol

Anyway, even if I am disappointed, but truth just speaks contrary. I don't need Takaki to blab too much about Inoo, knowing the fact that they hang out more often already made me fly to heaven. And they took photo together is just auuurrghhhhh
Somehow, I think Takaki is not a person who want to take photo with someone he doesn't know well
So....I am happy after all
Yeah, my heart still full of takanoo after all (and inoobu) XD
