Summary: Inoo experienced the darkest night of his life when his wife died, will someone be able to bring a bright new morning to him?
Inspired by this:
I’m one of the successful and well-known 30-yr old architect these days. Being a father at only 15, life has been hard with my wife. But because of the loving support from our family, we were able to graduate from college and built our own home but the wonderful days ended in a dark frightful night of my life. I was driving my way towards my wife’s office when I received a call from her father telling me she was hit by a car as she waits for me outside the building. When I got in the hospital she was only a lifeless cold-body. My whole world crushed in an instant. It hit me many times when I realized that I wasn’t there beside her on the last moments of her life. Her mother told me her last wishe and so we granted it.
Yuri’s embraced tightened around me as we take our final farewell to my late wife. My son beside me is holding his tears as his younger sister cried louder on my arms. He’s just like me, I can hold back my feelings and let it out somewhere later when I’m alone. I don’t want to look weak to my children. We now take a handful of her ashes and spread it on the ocean, like she wished before her last breath.
After a week passed, we were able to return to ourselves again. I was making waffles for breakfast when my two children come down the stairs already dressed up for school.
“Daddy, waffles?” Yuri tugged at my apron since she can’t see what I’m cooking.
I carried her on my arms and let her see the waffle pan. “Your favourite, princess” I kissed her cheek and she giggled. Well, she likes it when she was called “princess” or “cute”.
“I’m coming home late tonight” Yuto said, preparing Yuri’s milk and my coffee at the counter.
“Want me to fetch you?”
“Actually, I wanted to visit your office too”
“Alright, just come at my office. I’ll wait for you there”
We had our breakfast then I send them to their school afterwards. Yuri kept waving at me before she ran inside her school.
“Are you going to bring Yuri with you later?”
“I’ll have free time before my club activities start so I’ll send her home first”
“Okay, I’ll leave everything to you. Have a great day!”
“Sure. Bye Dad!”
I got in the office and was surprised by a walk-in client. My assistant said he was fascinated by my latest art museum design so he came straight from there for my service. Since I had finished the latest project, I can take his request and not long enough he entered my office. I can say he’s a high-class man, wearing a famous brand of tuxedo and I must say he’s above the good-looking level. Or more like, gorgeous man.
“Welcome to my office!” I greeted, reaching for a handshake but he just stared at me like he saw something on my face
“Mr. Takaki?”
“Ah, pardon me. Yes, nice to see you Mr. Inoo” he blinked a few times then accepted my hand for a greeting. And I felt the different kind of warmth of his hand which holds mine protectively. Like I’m his most important person. He squeezed my hand lightly before we let go. I smiled a little, trying to figure out the familiarity of the warmth that I felt.
“So, about your planned mansion by the sea side...” I started talking about our business and noticed how he looks at me while blushing eventhough he’s sun-tanned. A little later, he asked if he can call me by my name instead and making my clients comfortable with it, I agreed. I don’t know to myself but my heart started beating fast whenever he calls my name. I tried to hide the scarlet color that was starting to taint my face even more when we had skin contacts. His stares felt so heavy that I got conscious on every movement that I do.
After an hour of discussion, he invited me for a dinner but this time, I refused because of some important meeting. He sighed heavily before smiling at me and said we can have it some other time. He took his goodbye with a sudden hug that left me dumbfounded because I swear, my heart skipped a beat!
“Thank you for today Mr. Inoo. Our contract signing will be tomorrow, we’ll contact you once we got a reservation for a lunch meeting” his assistant said after he guided his boss to his Rolls Royce car. Then not long enough, their car drove away.
“Sorry, I’m a little late!” Yuto came catching his breath, looks like he ran all the way from school.
“Don’t worry, my client just left” I smiled at him and pats his head.
“That’s your client? Wow Dad, isn’t that a Rolls Royce?” Yuto excitedly asked, putting an arm around my shoulder as we walk towards my car. Well he’s already an inch taller than me at 16 so yeah, we could pass as brothers.
“I think so. Now let’s go have dinner first. Oh, and buy cake for your sister before we head home” I said as I took my keys from my pocket but he grabbed it to my hand.
“I want to drive, can I?” he asked, having his handsome smile on his face.
“Sure” I smiled back at him and went to the passenger’s seat. He started the engine and drove towards the family restaurant we always went to.

The next morning, I received a call from Ishihara, Mr. Takaki’s assistant, about the details of our lunch meeting. As expected from my billionaire client, we were scheduled to meet at the newly opened hotel of the Takaki Group of Companies, The Olympus Grand Hotel. I was welcomed by Ishihara and two other important-looking men at the lobby and was guided towards the rendezvous. We had a little chat inside where the other two men introduced themselves as the President and Head Manager of the hotel. They praised me about my completed projects. They said that they are really astounded by my works. When the elevator reached the top floor, I was the only one who walked out.
“Ishihara-san?” I asked as I noticed that they didn’t stepped a foot.
“This is exclusively for the members of the Takaki family. Only invited guests are permitted to set foot here” the general manager said followed by a nod from the president.
“Takaki Yuya-sama is waiting for you at the far left door, we can only bring you up to this point. Please excuse us” he answered then he and the other two bowed to me before the elevator door closed. Okay, this is kinda weird. Aren’t the three of them invited inside? They are important persons so why not?
Calm down Inoo Kei... there’s nothing to worry about... I said to myself as I take my steps towards the said door. I took a deep breath when I stopped in front of the door.
“Come in please” I heard a voice, so I decided to enter.
“Sumimasen...” I said as I opened the door carefully. My eyes widen as I was welcomed by a gorgeous man in a red robe. His hair is still wet so he looked a lot sexier with that. I gulped.
What is this?!
“Ah, sorry for this. I just finished taking a shower. You don’t mind, right?” he asked, he sat at the couch as he rested his arm on the arm rest and the left sleeve of his robe fell down that showed his muscle-toned chest.
Of course, I mind! This is a business meeting!
“Not that I could complain, it’s your own place anyway” I tried to be casual as possible. My face is starting to feel warm. He gestured for me to sit across him so I did. I brought out the documents that needed to be signed by both parties at the glass low-table in between us.
“So about the contract...” I started but he suddenly stood up and walked towards my side. He sat beside me and leaned closer to my face. I automatically leaned back to keep the distance between us but he trapped me with his arms when I lost my balance and fell back to the couch.
“Ta... Takaki-san?” I nervously asked, looking away from his deep eyes. I felt his index finger on my chin and was guided to face him.
“Kei, what do you think about me?” he asked, his mint breath fanned to my face.
“Eh? W-hat?” I asked him back nervously. And I swear, my face is already red as tomato!
“I’m sorry if I’m acting this way but...” he swayed the locks of my hair on my face and continued “... I’m really desperate to have you”
“H-ave... Have me? Why?” I stuttered. Who wouldn’t? We were supposed to do business and yet we’re in this unexpected situation.
“I know this is crazy but I fell for you on the first glance” he confessed, his eyes were sparkling beautifully that I forgot how to talk.
“...”
“So now, tell me. Do you love that guy?” he suddenly asked making me talk again suddenly.
“Who?”
“Your current lover”
“Lover?”
“The guy who you went home with last night”
“A guy?” I asked for the nth time and realized who he was talking about.
“Wait.... wait!” I pushed his body for us to sit up.
“Are you talking about Yuto?”
“Whatever his name is” he rolled his eyes, acting not interested with the name I mentioned.
“I think you’re mistaking here Takaki-san”
“What? Don’t tell me he’s just a friend!”
“No he’s not”
“Then who is he to you?!”
“He’s my son”
“You’re son!” he shouted then paused.
“Wait, did you just say ‘son’?” he blinked at me cutely and I can’t help but to giggle.
“Yes, Yuto is my son and I also have a daughter already” I explained as I cover my mouth while trying to contain my laugh at his childish act just now.
“So you mean, you’re married?”
“Yes I am but...”
“But... what?”
“I’m a widow man now”
“Oh, sorry”
“No its okay”
“So that means, I have a chance on you?” he asked, slowly pushing me back to lay down the couch.
“Wait... what are you doing?” I asked nervously, I tried to push him away but he took my hand that was on his chest and kissed it. My face burned in embarrassment.
“I want to kiss you!”
“You’re not even confessing properly yet!”
“Okay. Okay.” He let me push him to sit again so we are now facing each other properly on the couch.
“Inoo Kei, will you accept my feelings?” he confessed with a serious tone. His eyes telling me how serious he is. But still, I can’t contain myself and let out a loud laugh.
“Fufufu... Ahahahahaha!”
“What’s so funny?”
“The way you confessed just now is so childish. You’re not a teen anymore!”
“I don’t care. So?” he cupped my face and inched closer.
“So?” I managed to ask before I felt his warm lips on mine. And I just remembered this familiar feeling I’ve been thinking this whole time. Our lips parted and we both stare at each other like it was a magical phenomenon.
“I guess, that’s a ‘yes’ from you then” he brushed his thumb on my lips and winked at me.
“I guess, I like you too...” I confessed back and we shared another kiss. And this time, the gentle kiss turned into a passionate one. I was able to stop him from undressing me and continued our real business. We both signed the contract and started the project after a month passed.
After 2 months...
Yuya insisted to meet my children so we came home to have dinner. We are at the living room with Yuto and Yuri sitting across us.
“Yuto, Yuri. This is Takaki Yuya” I started, noticing how Yuya’s eyes sparkled when he heard their names.
“Inoo Yuto desu” he casually introduced himself with a smile.
“Inoo Yuri-chan desu” she introduced herself like a princess and shyly climbed up to my lap.
“This is great! I wanted to have kids with names starting with ‘Yu’!”
“Eh?” the three of us asked in unison.
“Hajimemashite! Starting tomorrow, I’m gonna be your dad!” he gladly introduced his self with that childish smile of his.
“WHAT?!” Yuto exclaimed, his eyes widened to this sudden revelation while I facepalmed beside Yuya.
Now I regret to marry this childish guy!
“Dad, what’s this?” Yuto asked.
“Daddy, Takaki-san is also Daddy?” Yuri asked, blinking her cute eyes at me and pointed at Yuya.
“I know this is too sudden but yes, we’re getting married tomorrow in America” I answered.
“Then what will Yuri-chan call you?” she asked again, tilting her head that made Yuya pinched her cheeks due to her overloaded cuteness.
“You can call him Mama! And me, Papa!” Yuya answered for me and I immediately whacked his baka head lightly.
“That’s not gonna work...” I sighed.
“It’s fine to me!”
“Yuri-chan is fine with it too!”
“Eh? Yuto? Yuri too?”
“Because Mama is so beautiful!” they said in unison and I could just sigh in defeat. Looks like my children matches Yuya’s childishness.

Seriously. You're works always made me flail like this. Good job! This story is so cute. Glad that it ended up with Yuya being the papa and Kei with the mama haha!
